Histoire en anglais, histoire familiale n°1

The Bilberry-Lola - Homework n°1

My sister was kidnapped twice by a stork. No ransom, but twice she had to lay on the billiard table, to have the caesarian cut, because her pelvis wasn't large enough. That was indeed the price of the ransom. But the stork gave her two little lovely and lively ladies, Charlotte and Lola, as crazy as their uncle, my two nieces ! Two nice nieces in Nice.

When the first was born, we decided to kill two birds with one stone : to make and eat a strawberry Charlotte to Charlotte's birth ! But we cannot have the cake and eat it, and when the second was born, we had fishes to fry : the house got too small for the family so they had to find another one, not too far and not too expensive because of my brother in law's new job : not sure to keep it he couldn't throw his money down the drain.

Then we all put the shoulder to the wheel to help to move. What a story ! The day Lola came to the world, it began to rain cats and dogs, so we had to wait several days before moving out. Driving on the wet roads of the Azure coast was as skating on thin ice. And, as the (nearly) whole family was there, the house got smaller and smaller. And it costed an arm and a leg to live in the Azure hotels.

All in the soup, we believed we could move out when pigs would fly. But one week later, we were all out of the hood. As Lola-Myrtille is the whole name of my second niece we decided to make a bilberry Charlotte, that we called the “Bilberry-Lola”.
